The broad range of slopes for all abilities and the excellently prepped 150 kilometres of pistes make a skiing winter holiday at out our ski hotel in Sölden, the 4* Hotel Dominic, a unique pleasure. Ultra modern lifts with a capacity to carry 68,000 people an hour ensure quick and comfortable transportation of skiers and snowboarders up to the highest slopes - with no waiting times.
63 km of red, 53 km of blue and 28 km of black runs as well as a 6km long ski route make up the variety on offer – from very easy terrain for beginners and pre-intermediate skiers on the Giggijoch mountain to a variety of demanding ski slopes on the Gaislachkogl. Furthermore, the Gaislachkogl (3,058 m) is also very popular among those who like to get away from the secured slopes and lay their tracks in the snow off-piste. Among the snowboarders, the Giggijoch and the Tiefenbach glacier are the favourites.
Thanks to the altitude of between 1,350 and 3,250 metres, snow is absolutely guaranteed from November to May. Two glacier ski regions await in the form of the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers. All slopes below 2,200 metres are serviced by snow canons.
